Thackeray claims Operation Tiger aimed to sideline Fadnavis from PM stage

Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray alleged in New Delhi on Saturday that the BJP orchestrated the defection of six Lok Sabha MPs from his faction to block Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis from becoming a Prime Minister contender, a move Thackeray labeled "Operation Tiger".

Thackeray countered that this was actually "Operation Devendra" intended to sideline Fadnavis in national politics, raising concerns about internal alliance stability in Maharashtra ahead of future national elections.
